Asuka’s ancient landscape to Yoshino
Begin among Asuka’s historic sites, with stops at Asukadera and Ishibutai, then continue toward the Yoshino River. The first part is best enjoyed with short walks through the village landscape. Finish near Yoshino-Jingu rather than driving into the narrow upper temple streets.
