Ome and the road to Lake Okutama
Leave Ome along the Tama River valley, stop around Mitake, and continue through Okutama toward Ogouchi Dam. The landscape changes from riverside settlements to steep wooded hills and reservoir views. Finish with a walk around the dam’s visitor area; this route stays on the approach to the lake rather than the Okutama Shuyu road.
