Aso’s northern rim and grasslands
Start near Aso Station and climb to Daikanbo before following the northern highland roads toward Senomoto. The route focuses on the caldera panorama and grasslands rather than the volcanic crater. Pause at the designated viewpoints and leave time for a short walk at Daikanbo.
